Russia has carried out an act of aggression towards Ukraine. Russian troops have entered Crimea. Thus we take it upon ourselves to inform you about the events in Ukraine. We will provide you with yet another viewpoint regarding this conflict. We will do our best to remain fair and objective.

April 14 – A large number of people who vaguely resemble sportsmen and are wearing civil clothes are arriving in Chisinau from Russia. “Having formed groups they leave Chisinau and travel to Transnistria”, informed the coordinator of the Information Resistance Group Dmytro Tymchuk. It is evident that an attack on Odesa and thus Ukraine can be expected from Transnistria, which is being controlled by Russia.

April 14 – Pro-Ukrainian non-governmental organizations have started recruitment of volunteers to join “self-defense groups” in Luhansk, informed volunteer activist Kostyantyn Ilchenko.

April 14 – City Militia Precinct was seized in the city of Horlivka, Donetsk oblast. Lieutenant Colonel of the Russian Army was leading the attack in Horlivka.

April 14 – Russia is responsible for deliberately destabilizing Eastern Ukraine and is planning to wreck presidential election, stated British Foreign Secretary William Hague.

April 14 – Separatists have seized the airfield in the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk oblast. They also called on Vladimir Putin for support. Secret Service of Ukraine has intercepted telephone conversations of separatists from Sloviansk with their Russian leaders. To the separatists, Moscow has communicated the conditions, which they should bring forward to Ukrainian authorities.

April 14 – Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is deeply concerned about the latest developments in the east of Ukraine, informed Press Attaché for the President of Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov. This may be evidence to the preparation of the attack on Eastern Ukraine.

April 14 – Taking into consideration the aggression of Russian reconnaissance and subversion groups in Eastern Ukraine, Ukraine may consider full shut down of cross-border activity with Russia, stated Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Danylo Lubkivsky.

April 14 – Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has carried into effect the Decision by National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine “On Urgent Measures to Overcome Terrorist Threat and Preserve Territorial Integrity of Ukraine” and the beginning of anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine.
