Dear friends!

Russia has carried out an act of aggression towards Ukraine. Russian troops have entered Crimea. Thus we take it upon ourselves to inform you about the events in Ukraine. We will provide you with yet another viewpoint regarding this conflict. We will do our best to remain fair and objective.

April 1 – Germany's Federal Minister of Finance Wolfgang Schäuble stated that Russia’s annexation of Crimea can be compared to 1939 Nazi invasion, which resulted in the occupation of German-speaking parts of Czechoslovakia.

April 1 – The accounts of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine have been replenished with over 70 million UAH – the money is being received within a public appeal to help Ukrainian Armed Forces.

April 1 – NATO’s Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen is not confirming the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian borders and is calling on Moscow to start the de-escalation of current situation. Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel is displeased with the level of withdrawal of Russian troops from the border with Ukraine.

April 1 – Ukraine and Russia have almost agreed upon the relocation of Ukrainian servicemen and property from Crimea, including all Ukrainian Navy ships (70 ships) invaded by Russian troops.

April 1 – “Ukraine joining NATO will cause a “headache””, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation.

April 1 – “As far as thewhether the Russians move further, I would believe that would be very unreasonable from the side of Russia, because there's a decision by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, no matter how weak we were in military in comparison to Russia, but we'll start fire”, said the leader of Crimean Tatars Mustafa Cemilev during his interview with Christiane Amanpour, ÑNN.

P.S.: Please spread this appeal as much as possible.
